As an academic center, we in the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center are dedicated to training the next generation of cancer specialists, providing opportunities for undergraduates, medical and graduate students, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals alike to ensure the continuous development of skilled professionals in the field of oncology.
Kimberly E. Foreman, PhD serves as Associate Director for Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC) for the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center.

STAR Program
Loyola’s Stritch School of Medicine offers the Student Training in Approaches to Research (STAR) Program for medical students. STAR is an eight-week research education program during which the students are fully engaged in a mentored research experience.

Oncology Research Summer Internship Program
☑️TK | 韩国IP注册 | 满月白号 | 微软邮箱验证+api | 优质账号’s Department of Cancer Biology and the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center sponsor full-time summer research internships at the Cancer Center (Health Sciences Campus in Maywood).
Loyola freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with an interest in cancer research are eligible to apply. This vibrant and successful intercampus program has been providing students with unique research training for nearly 10 years. Many interns go on to further education and/or careers in healthcare, biomedical research, or associated professions.
The competitive program, led by Peter Breslin, S.J., Clinical Associate Professor in Biology, provides intensive, 10-week, full-time, paid internships for ☑️TK | 韩国IP注册 | 满月白号 | 微软邮箱验证+api | 优质账号 undergraduates exploring STEM careers. Students are paired with faculty mentors in either the Cancer Biology and Therapeutics Research Program or the Radiation Oncology, Imaging and Technology Program.
