Application Policies and Information

The Instagram 3个月 使用2fa登录 Stritch School of Medicine seeks to recruit and enroll students in complete alignment with our Jesuit values: care for the whole person, education in the service of social justice, and reverence and respect for the community. We seek academically prepared candidates with significant and sustained:

  • Service and community engagement
  • Academic preparation, achievement, and curiosity
  • Leadership and inspiration/agency for change
  • Commitment and personal ethic for social justice and service, specifically to the underserved

Stritch carefully reviews criminal histories, institutional actions, behavioral records, and matters of public record submitted by applicants through the AMCAS application, supplemental application, and securely transmitted letters of recommendation. Stritch will consider deferment requests from candidates holding acceptances from May 1 to June 15, 2026. No deferment requests will be considered beyond June 15. Deferment requests require a formal request to the Dean of Admissions and consideration by the Executive Committee on Admissions.

Stritch requires that all applicants who apply consecutively for the third time (or more) petition the Admissions Office for their new application to be considered. This policy defines an application as a verified application submitted through AMCAS and sent to Stritch via AMCAS in three or more consecutive cycles. Petitions are considered only when candidates upload the document through the Stritch applicant portal (no other petitions will be accepted). Please title the uploaded document 'Petition for Admissions' when providing this information to the committee via your portal.
