Monthly Commitment to Excellence Award

The Commitment to Excellence Monthly Awards recognize Loyola staff members who demonstrate exceptional performance, outstanding service, and a strong commitment to the University’s mission. These awards honor staff who consistently support faculty, students, colleagues, and the wider community with professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication, thereby significantly enhancing the life and operations of the University.

All regular full‑time and part‑time staff members in good standing are eligible. Council members may nominate others but cannot be nominated during their term. Nominations may be submitted by administrators, staff, or faculty and should reflect excellence in job performance, exemplary customer service, or contributions aligned with the Five Characteristics of a Jesuit Education. Recipients receive an award and a letter from the President, and may be selected once every two years.
