Allocations Committee

SGLC Allocations Committee is a group within SGLC Senate that review proposals from student organizations and make recommendations to the Senate on allocating money to fund student-run events around campus.

The Student Activity Fund is guided by Jesuit principles, which challenge students to strive for excellence, become people in service to others, foster out-of-classroom learning, develop talents through discovery and reflection, and be concerned for each person. To this end, the numerous opportunities for interaction and involvement among students, faculty, and staff provided by the Student Activity Fund support the intellectual, social, physical, emotional, and spiritual development of each member of the Loyola community.

For more information on how to get funding for your student org event, please contact the Allocations Committee at allocations@luc.edu or visit the Center for Student engagement (CSE) Website.

The Sustainability Committee

The Sustainability Committee shall foster connections with RSOs and administrators regarding issues including, but not limited to, environmental sustainability, environmental justice, and sustainability within campus facilities.

The official mission of the Justice Committee is to pursue issues of social justice, environmental sustainability, and Jesuit, Catholic identity.

The Justice Committee serves to bring forth issues pertaining to its mission. The Committee serves as an advocate and liaison between the array of social justice, diversity, and environmental groups on campus and Loyola's administrators. In addition, as part of the mission, the committee maintains a strong bond with the university's Campus Ministry.
