Workplace Strategy - Future State Playbook
In 2022, Loyola’s Policy on Workplace Strategies went into effect. In 2024, Loyola’s Campus Plan called for the need to adopt space standards that respond to the changing landscape of the modern workplace, and to complement the University’s Policy on Workplace Strategies. In 2025, a task force consisting of members from Loyola’s Human Resources, Information Technology Services, Facilities, and the Provost’s Office undertook a project to apply our Policy on Workplace Strategies to physical space, using Lewis Towers as a model building. Through physical space surveys, focus group meetings, and occupant surveys, a workplace strategy and future state playbook was developed to create standards for workspace design and space allocation across the entire institution.
