Rambler Brotherhood Project Partners with American Family Insurance

Partnership includes $40,000 over three years to support student success and professional development

Through this new partnership, American Family Insurance has provided RBP with a gift of $40,000 in funding over the next three years to support the program, facilitate networking and mentorship, establish a pipeline for students to access internship and job opportunities within the company.

“We are extremely excited and thankful to partner with American Family Insurance," shared Jim Flavin, director of Special Projects and Initiatives in the Division of Student Development and co-director of RBP. 

“Corporate partnerships such as these not only provide crucial support to fund our program and help our students succeed during their time at Loyola,” added Flavin. “They also offer our students with invaluable opportunities to build their networks and explore potential career paths as they prepare to graduate and launch as young professionals.”

Students who meet attendance, GPA, and community service requirements earn a $1,400 scholarship. 

Only in its fourth year of operations at Loyola, RBP is already driving positive outcomes for its students. In the 2024 – 2025 academic year alone, RBP awarded $44,500 in scholarships and welcomed over 150 students who maintained an average GPA of 3.1. 

Flavin and RBP students are looking forward to a visit to the American Family Insurance headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin, among other opportunities.
