On July 31st, 2020, Jonathan M. Holmes, MD, was appointed as chair of the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson Department of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Holmes completed his medical degree at Oxford University Medical School. Afterwards, Dr. Holmes went to University of Michigan to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
