Clinical Opportunities

Early Patient Interaction

Students engage in clinical settings early in medical school, prior to core clerkships, through:

  • Physician-mentor and peer-mentor programs
  • Student organizations that affiliate with local free and reduced-cost clinics
  • Community-based clinical engagement aligned with Stritch’s mission of service

These experiences emphasize longitudinal patient interaction, exposure to underserved populations, and the ongoing development of professional identity.
