LETTER FROM THE DEAN

Dear Class of 2026,

Congratulations! We are so very proud of your remarkable achievement.

Earning a degree as an adult learner takes extraordinary courage, perseverance, and dedication. Along the way, many of you have balanced demanding work schedules, family responsibilities, and countless other commitments—yet you remained steadfast in your pursuit of your education. That determination speaks volumes about your character and your commitment to growth.

In a world shaped by rapid technological change and increasing globalization, your accomplishment reminds us that learning is truly a lifelong journey. By developing new skills and expanding your knowledge, you have positioned yourselves to continue growing, adapting, and leading in meaningful ways.

We can all learn from your example. Congratulations again on this well-deserved milestone, and best wishes as you carry the values of Loyola and SCPS into the next chapter of your lives.

With pride and admiration,

James V. Parenti, EdD
