Jalen Taylor is a nonprofit leader, theologian-in-formation, and creative practitioner working at the intersection of art, healing, and community transformation. She serves as Director of Development at SkyART, a trauma-informed visual arts and mental health organization, and she facilitates SoulCollage workshops. Jalen founded Caring and Coaching, a church-based healing ministry supporting individuals navigating life transitions. Her leadership is grounded in a commitment to cultivating spaces where all people can experience dignity, restoration, and belonging.

Her long-term vision is to continue building therapeutic communities rooted in Christian faith and cultural affirmation. Jalen says the biggest takeaway from her time at Loyola is that her connection to God grew.
