This year’s Symposium will focus on longevity medicine and healthcare, a rapidly evolving field shaped by scientific advancement, regulatory ambiguity, and consumer demand. Speakers will discuss the rise of the “biohacking” phenomenon and the growing popularity of health interventions aimed at improving body performance and extending lifespan beyond medical and assistive product needs. Speakers will analyze the risks associated with treatments like peptide injections, cellular therapies, implantable and wearable health and medical devices, and off-label prescription drugs, in addition to disparities in availability and affordability. The Symposium will highlight the importance of developing stronger regulatory oversight and ensuring that innovation is both safe and equitable.
