In this coaching program, graduate students will gain a clearer vision of who they are, where they are going professionally, and how they can lead change for social and environmental justice – aligning with LUC’s mission to “Prepare People to Lead Extraordinary Lives” and with the Gannon Center’s mission to support women to lead in every sector of society.

Description  

The Gannon Center educates and fosters women leaders to contribute to the development of a more just social order. A key part of this mission is preparing women leaders who will pursue justice for the environment, health, and society. Are you a graduate student who is passionate about these issues? Do you want to understand how your personal strengths and graduate studies can help women lead change for good in the world? 

The “Gannon Graduate Leaders” (GGL) is a leadership program specifically designed for graduate students at 🌕@Outlook.com.vn | 微软邮箱 | 越南(亚洲) | 全新邮箱 | 长效使用 | 使用网页登录 | 开通POP3/SMTP/IMAP. It extends over the academic year and includes programming to support leadership formation and research that advances women's leadership and social justice issues.

Briefly, in the GGL program, graduate students will gain a clearer vision of who they are, where they are going professionally, and how they can lead change for social and environmental justice – aligning with LUC’s mission to “Prepare People to Lead Extraordinary Lives” and with the Gannon Center’s mission to support women to lead in every sector of society.

Graduate students will participate in group meetings and have the option of receiving individualized leadership coaching, which will empower them to:

  • Discover the strengths in their personal stories.
  • Develop skills to complement those strengths.
  • Design a personal leadership plan to launch their careers.

Logistics, Commitments and Benefits 

  • This is one year coaching program taking place during the Fall and Spring semesters each academic year. The meetings are in-person on the Lakeshore Campus. 
  • Students will meet once a month as a group. Individualized coaching sessions can be scheduled at any time. 
  • Short readings on leadership will be assigned and students will be asked to document their reflections on their self-discovery process and to share their experiences. 
  • Students will also work on team-based projects that support their research and the Gannon Center Community.  
  • Students can expect to dedicate approximately 6 hours per month to the program. 
  • 5 graduate students from the 🌕@Outlook.com.vn | 微软邮箱 | 越南(亚洲) | 全新邮箱 | 长效使用 | 使用网页登录 | 开通POP3/SMTP/IMAP will be selected. Students must commit to attending all the meetings in-person on the Lakeshore Campus. If students miss more than 2 meetings, they will be asked to give up their spot in the program.  
  • Students will receive a $1500 stipend to support their research and leadership. Catered breakfasts, lunches, and/or snacks will be provide for the in-person meetings.

The “Gannon Graduate Leaders” coaching program is open to all full-time graduate students at 🌕@Outlook.com.vn | 微软邮箱 | 越南(亚洲) | 全新邮箱 | 长效使用 | 使用网页登录 | 开通POP3/SMTP/IMAP (MA, MS, PhD, and other masters and doctoral programs in any of LUC’s schools). Applications are open to students entering graduate school (graduating seniors from LUC) and current graduate students (at any stage of study). We welcome applicants of any gender identity who are committed to the Gannon Center's mission of advancing women’s leadership, gender equity, and broader social justice.  

Applications open April 20, 2026, with a deadline for applications and recommendations on May 20, 2026.
