Focus on Teaching and Learning Unconference January 2026

Unconference: A participant-driven event that centers peer-to-peer learning, flexibility, and creativity.

Join us either online or in person for the first Focus on Teaching and Learning Unconference!

Let curiosity be your guide! Together and in real time, we will design the agenda for the day, focusing on teaching and learning conversation topics most pressing and interesting to those in attendance.

Colleagues from the Center for Faculty Development, including the Office of Online Learning, the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship, and Learning Technologies and Innovation will be available as subject matter experts to call on as needed.

Choose the date and modality that works best for you--or come to both!

  • Option 1: Wednesday, January 7, 2026 | 9am-12pm Chicago Time | Zoom
  • Option 2: Thursday, January 8, 2026 | 10am-2pm Chicago Time | Regents Hall WTC

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided for those attending the in person unconference on January 8th
