I will meet with an ACE advisor at least once each semester, every semester until I graduate, to discuss academic planning.
Note: ACE Advisors are your primary advisors in your first and second years. Starting your junior year, your primary advisor will be assigned by your college/school. As a junior and senior, you are still expected to meet this advising requirement.
When I reach Senior status (the semester of graduation), I will meet at least once with my ACE Advisor and schedule my final meeting of the semester with the Assistant Director to complete the ACE Exit Interview.
If I receive any unsatisfactory grades (C- or lower) during the midterm period or at the end of any academic semester, or if I become subject to Academic Probation, I agree to meet with ACE Staff to discuss strategies to improve my academic performance. This may include weekly/bi-weekly ACE meetings, regular tutoring, regular mentoring, wellness/on-campus partner referrals, and/or other tailored recommendations as determined by ACE Staff.
Mentoring
As a First-Year ACE Scholar, I will meet with my Peer Mentor at least once a month during my first year (Fall and Spring terms).
As a Second-Year Scholar, I will meet with my assigned Second-Year Mentor Ambassador at least once each semester during that year (Fall and Spring terms).
As a Third/Fourth+ Year Scholar, I will meet with my assigned Master’s Mentor at least once each semester until graduation to discuss post-baccalaureate studies and/or to develop a career plan.
Workshops/Events
I will attend at least two ACE-sponsored programs each semester (programs include ACE workshops, events, retreats, banquets, etc.).
Note: If I attend at least one ACE Tutoring session this semester, I only need to attend one ACE-sponsored program.
I agree to attend the ACE-sponsored events/workshops and services I sign up for. RSVPs are required! Tickets, materials, and food are based on RSVPs.
Note: I will notify ACE Staff at least 24 hours (preferably 48 hours) in advance if I cannot attend the scheduled program or “big ticket” event due to illness or an emergency. Failure to provide proper notification may affect my participation in future ticketed events.
Tutoring
I understand that ACE tutoring is most effective when it is a consistent, weekly, hour-long appointments. I will be proactive about scheduling ACE Tutoring sessions throughout my time at Loyola.
Note: If you can't find a class on Navigate, you should reach out to ACE Staff to help you find adequate support for that class.
If an emergency comes up and I need to miss or reschedule a tutoring appointment, I will give my tutor at least 24-hour (preferably 48-hour) advance notice.

I understand that access to free printing services (in the ACE Lounge) is intended solely for ACE Scholars when printing academic-related documents.
Financial Assistance
If eligible, I will apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the priority deadline each year.
I will meet with ACE Staff if I need assistance with completing the FAFSA, any scholarship/grant application, or if filing an appeal through the Financial Aid Office.
If I consider taking time off or transferring from Loyola due to financial challenges, I agree to meet with ACE Staff beforefinalizing my plans.
Post-Baccalaureate Studies
If I have expressed an interest in exploring graduate or professional school options, I will seek assistance from ACE Staff to help me plan for and apply to graduate school.
Program Communication
I understand that ACE will use my Loyola email address as a primary form of contact.I agree to read all communication received by ACE Staff including email, phone messages, social media communication (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, ACE Listserv, etc.) in a timely manner, and to respond when applicable.
Exit Interview
I agree to participate in an Exit Interview with ACE Staff (Assistant Director) when I graduate from Loyola, if I withdraw prior to the completion of my bachelor’s degree, or if I transfer to another institution of higher education.
