Join us for the Staff Cura Personalis Retreat

Join Staff Council and Mission Integration for a one-day, overnight restorative retreat at LUREC designed to support your mind, body, and spirit in the manner of cura personalis. In a relaxing and engaging environment, you’ll enjoy meaningful moments with colleagues as well as quiet time for yourself. Guided sessions and reflective practices will help you slow down and learn simple yet powerful approaches to self‑care. You’ll leave with renewed energy, a deeper sense of community, and personal strategies to support your well‑being long after the retreat is done.

What we do

Represent the voice of the Staff

Staff Council seeks to represent the voice of the staff in the University's shared governance system, brining full-time staff concerns to administration.

Support staff development

We aim to create and assist with development opportunities for staff. Read more about our programs, or suggest a new one!

Recognize staff excellence

Through our monthly and annual excellence awards programs, we seek to recognize staff who contribute greatly to our University and its mission. Learn how to recognize a colleague for their outstanding work.

Provide emergency support

We run the Loyola Employee Emergency Fund (LEEF), which provides one-time microgrants to LUC employees facing no-faulty emergencies. Learn how to donate to this important program or to request funds.

Create community

Through our events and programs, we seek to create a great sense of unity and community for staff across all our campuses. Learn more about our social and community events and programs.
