Shannon Cervantes

Instructor

Shannon has been a licensed attorney since November of 2023. She currently works for Prairie State Legal Services as a Staff Attorney who assists primarily indigent and disabled clients in securing stable housing, maintaining federal and state public benefits, addressing family law issues, and with other matters as they arise. 

Additionally, Shannon has taught GED completion and volunteered for Project VITAL through Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, Illinois, where she taught English to non-native speakers prior to teaching courses at SCPS.
